In 2012, the 3919 domestic violence info telephone number of the National Federation of Women’s Solidarity celebrates its 20th birthday.

The number is still very useful in France since nowadays 1 woman out of 10 is a victim of domestic violence, and one woman is beaten to death every two days and a half by her partner.
