Whether you've moved out yourself or helped a significant other find a place to call home, most of us can relate to the joy/anticipation/dread that comes with setting up a new gaff.

Beautifully portraying this pivotal juncture is First Apartment, French electronic store Boulanger's new film from TBWA, in which a loving father helps his excited daughter create a space to call her own.

Directed with subtle skill by BIG's Julie Navarro, who draws some wonderfully underplayed performance notes from her cast, this warm and witty (especially the 'twist' at the end) slice of life is a lovely reminder of one of life's big moments.
