DIMITRI GUERASSIMOV nommé CCO de VMLY&R FRANCE

 

Guerassimov, who just won Cannes Lions’ Creative Effectiveness Grand Prix, joins VMLY&R from Serviceplan at an incredibly exciting time for the new agency network

PARIS (June 25, 2019) – VMLY&R announced today the appointment of Dimitri Guerassimov as co-CEO and CCO of VMLY&R France. Guerassimov starts this week and will REPORT TO VMLY&R GLOBAL CCO, DEBBI VANDEVEN.

In this new role, Guerassimov will be responsible for co-leading the expansion of the brand experience agency in France and accelerating the rollout of its integrated creative and digital offering to create connected brands.

Dimitri joins from Serviceplan, Europe's biggest independent agency group, where he was a Partner and Chief Creative Officer and played an instrumental part in launching the integrated agency OFFER in France. Before that, Dimitri spent over ten years BUILDING THE MARCEL AGENCY (PUBLICIS GROUP) rising to Chief Creative Officer and HELPING MAKING it the most awarded French agency at Cannes Lions in 2015, 2016 and 2018.

Dimitri’s work - among which Intermarché’s Inglorious Fruits and Vegetables (D&AD BLACK PENCIL, 2015) and Carrefour Black Supermarket (Creative Effectiveness Grand Prix, Cannes Lions 2019) - has received global recognition and garnered over 500 creative awards including 61 Cannes Lions and the only French D&AD Black Pencil.

Dimitri will partner closely with Cecile to nurture a bold connected creative culture and deliver connected experiences that embed VMLY&R’s client partners in people’s lives and drive strategic business priorities.
